My landing page is abc.com/a.html which has 3 links on it which point to xyz.com/z.html, abc.com/b.html & abc.com/c.html
100 users visit abc.com/a.html (Landing Page) out of which:
60 precede to xyz.com/z.html.
20 people visit abc.com/b.html page and leave the site (close the browser).
10 people visit abc.com/c.html which again has a link to xyz.com/z.html, out of the 10 visits 7 go to xyz.com/z.html and 3 leave the site (close the browser).
AND 10 people leave the site on the landing page itself (abc.com/a.html)
In this case what is my Bounce Rate & Exit Rate for abc.com/a.html, abc.com/b.html and abc.com/c.html and an average Bounce & Exit Rate on the entire domain www.abc.com
Get a stats package like statcounter or google analytics. Then all you have to do is install the code and your bounce rates/exit rates and many more stats are worked out automatically.
