Can I quickly verify my goals in Google Analytics?

When I add goals in Analytics and click through my site, I don't see the results in Analytics until the following day.
Is there a way to get results more quickly when setting up goals? Troubleshooting goals and funnels takes a long time when you have to wait till the following day to see if things are working right.
Thanks, Dan

nope. it takes 24hrs to replicate data to your account.
dont know why, but thats what i have always heard, and it seems to be true for my goals as well...
havent heard anything to dispute that yet....

I've seen some goals come in as quick as 2-3 hours after completion of the sale. It seems utterly random and you will not see all of them sometimes for at least 24 hours, or even longer.

wow 2 to 3 hours... thats sweet.... never heard that, but ill take it.
but if you are watching your goals every 2-3 hours, you need more to do...
unless thats your title.."google analytics goal specialist"
..ohhh, i think illl put that on my resume.

When I do expensive A-B testing, I watch it regularly.

One way to quickly verify goals is to check the "Top Content" report. There's a search box at the bottom that accepts regular expressions, just like goals do. By copying the goal step to the search box, you can see what Google Analytics will interpret as a goal hit given the URI you put into the goal.
