is this possible?

i have a major .gov site that is going to link to our corporate site starting next month for a new product we are offering, and the .gov office is going to back it.

now, i want to do some A/B landing page testing, but obviously i only have one incoming link.

i have Google Analytics installed.

instead of manually changing the page design each day, and trying to keep track of that in GA, is there an easier method?

i have done A/B testing, but had multiple incoming links... not just one link.

thanks

This can be done with Google's Site Optimizer, which connects fairly closely with GA. It can offer much deeper optimization test than A/B splits using just the one incoming link.

Are you trying to optimize a landing page dedicated solely to that one traffic source?

Essentially.

i want to see which page retains more traffic, has a lower bounce rate, and has better conversions.

Sounds like Site Optimizer is the ticket. Give it a test drive.
