Anybody have a clue why'd they visit my website (s)?

I don't participate in their adwords program or any other program?

66.249.85.87 - - [26/Sep/2008:21:47:09 +0100] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 403 1012 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Google Keyword Tool; +http://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal)"

Thanks in advance.

I don't know that anyone has the final word on this bot so far. Here's a discussion from earlier this year:

Is this legitimate Google, or another nasty bot in disguise? [webmasterworld.com]

There are several sites out there that will tell you exactly what a given user agent is. Try doing a search that contains the phrase user agent or user agent string.

Somebody plugged your site into the keyword suggestion tool.

Either a competitor or a potential advertiser (if you display AdSense).

Many thanks.

I utilized the link in the log entry, however my access and resulting log entry was from a Class A 74.
As a result, I might only surmise that the user was using another Google tool simultaneously.
