Relation between referrals and page views

Want to know which referrals went to which page

Hi,

I know there are two kinds of reports available:

1. Referrals
2. Page Views

But the problem is there is no relationship between these two. I mean I want to know from exactly which referral I got how many page views for a particular page. Referrals just shows you from where you visitors came but NOT on which page they landed. Similarly Page Views only shows you the no. of total page views but not from where the user came.

Can't there be any relationship between these two? I have tried Urchin 5 (installed on server), Google Analytics, Webalizer e.t.c but they both show these reports separately.

If you control the inbound link (i.e. an advert) you can add a parameter, e.g. "?anything=whatever" and then the landing page becomes unioque to the source.

Certainly I've been using a tracking system for years that filters referrals by landing pages or even by page title, so they are out there. I am sure there's more than one.

Oh yes adding a page to inbound link will certainly do the trick. Thanks
