New IE browser may screw up tracking

IE 8 has some privacy features that could prevent programs like Google Analytics from collecting data, and make it easier than ever to turn off persistent cookies. While this is great on the privacy side, it also has potential for messing up reporting.

There's nothing particularly new here compared to FF and so forth, but it's still going to be a big deal.

I saw this last week. Tracking PPC sales and other paid sources shouldn't really be affectd, but this will surely not help my ability to track sales from organic placements.
