In the past few days, I have started having my firewall on XP (using Comodo Pro) stating that parent app service.exe is using svchost.exe to connect to port 80. I am a webmaster and have been on the net since early dial-up days. I do not find any common web site I am visiting that seems to try to talk to llnw. I have so far blocked 5 attempts, the most recent - 68.142.123.117. If this is harmless, I would like to find out, but it does not happen with only Google pages. Thanks

This could be a virus botnet - make sure you use up to date anti-virus, if you can give Kaspersky a go - they catch one of those botnets that fit your description.
