I have a question regarding licensing and page views. If profiles are getting analyzed with data sources then page views definetly get counted against your licensing. What if you then had individual profiles getting analyzed using the same logs only they were using Data Source Splitters. Essentially I have one report for our whole intranet and then individual ones for different businesses. They are all using the same log files. The Intranet report is analyzing using the datasource method and the individual reports are all using data source splitters. Are the data source splitter reports getting counted against my page views?
We are averaging 60,000,000 page views a year and our licensing is good for 40,000,000. I am trying to trim everything down as much as possible. Any other suggestions or flukes regarding licensing and page views..I am running 7.1a professional.
Thanks a ton everyone.

My understanding is that as long as a line in a log file is not in multiple Data Sources (as defined in Administration), it can be analyzed by as many profiles as you want and will be counted only once. Data Source Splitting should not affect it.
