GA or Webalizer

Which would you trust more?

Funny, I was surprised to see the difference in the results from 2 statistics tools.

I know full well they would be different, and some about the "why" - but I was really surprised to see that Webalizer shows some statistics 2x higher than GA, and some at less that 1/2.

I would have expected the discrepancy to be fairly uniform across all the stats.

Which would you take to be more realistic?

GA page views are more than double (60K) what they show in Webalyzer (24K)

#1 top key phrase is exactly opposite, Webalyser shows twice the hits (1K) on this keyword compared with GA at 500.

when we get down to the 10th key phrase, it seems to even out, and then it changes where GA is more than Webalyser.

go figure!

GA will show pages viewed by backbutton or other kind of cache and Webalyzer won't. One of many differences. It's the server log vs tag log story. Tag products will generally agree with each other, as will server log products. (chewy, I know you know that. just a general comment)
