1) People keying in the URL directly into the address bar.
2) Visitors from bookmarks/ favorites.
3) Any other source that is considered as direct.
I agree with MrRoy that Google analytics does not show such a break up of direct traffic.
In that event, how to get such a break up? OR can we get that from Google analytics itself? Can anybody help us on this regard?

However, there is some additional breakdown that you can get, but not much. IE knows about, but does not send, referrer information for clicks that open in a new window. I know Firefox and Safari do transmit referrers in these cases. (My information might be old). So, you could get some additional information if you isolate just Firefox visitors in your stats.
I saw a pretty good list of all the reasons for direct visits in a blog you can find by googling on "webtrends outsider."
