track visits from a widget

Hi,

I am new to webmaster.

NetVibes built our firm a web widget that is compatible with many strat paes. They has a sponsorhip program which we took advantage of and had almost 3 thousand installations of our widget. The widget basically offers investing news adn feeds. can any of you think of a way where we can possibly track the vistors we get through each installation.

Basically how many vistors we are getting from the RSS feeds on the widget. we use Omniture for our web traffic and tehre isan't a way to track this since the referrer is always different.

Add a parameter to every link - e.g. #widgetfeed then you can use javascript to separate landing pages containing the #widgetfeed text in the landing page URL vs those that don't.
