Google Analytics Discrepency Between Accounts

Same site, different pageviews/visits

We recently set up GA for our site, one account to track traffic across all sub-domains and one account that monitored each sub-domain.

So two trackers were created in each page, one for each account. But the GA stats are not the same between the accounts for the same sub-domains or even some pages.

So one account may say that the the homepage had 1330 page views. while the other account will say that the was 1300 page vies for the same page on the same day.

Any ideas? I have looked but as of yet, I have been unable to find an answer.
