I need to check all outgoing mail sent from a certain email address on my mail account. Does anyone know if one can setup Outlook to automatically BCC all sent emails? The BCC address will always be the same and should not be able to be removed by the user (ideally it should not be displayed). I don't have access to the Sent Items folder, as the computer is in a different location. MS Office 2000. Looking around on Google, but maybe someone knows a quick workaround. Thanks

I won't comment on how to do this, but I will say you need to be very certain you understand the privacy implications of what you are proposing, and that you have the legal right to do it.

I thought for sure I could show you how to do this directly from Outlook but I was wrong. Looks like you will have to use one of the addins. I found cheap ones, but no free ones.

Are you the network admin?
do you have access to the mail server(s)?
If you're running Exchange (and you are the admin) you can automatically have a copy of any mail sent to any address.

It's not a difficult thing to setup, however, you need access to mail server administration.

If you are NOT the admin....and you have permission from the company, contact the net admin, they can take care of it in about 15 seconds,,,

We currently use the function to monitor temporary help email messages.

(Just my 2-cents)

Thanks!
Tera

Thanks Terabytes. Wish i had an exchange server, that would make life much easier! I will settle for the CC option in Outlook rules.
