Hello,

We've these stats in Google webmasters:

HTTP errors (491) ¦ Not found (1504) ¦ URLs not followed (0) ¦ URLs restricted by robots.txt (0) ¦ URLs timed out (0) ¦ Unreachable URLs (48)

What do you think, is it normal or what? I couldn't find some kind of standards to compare with. What it all depend on?

Thanks

Welcome to webmasterworld [webmasterworld.com], mohalfares :)

Those numbers are certainly concerning. 'HTTP errors' and 'unreachable URLs' usually occur if your web server was not working or timed out when Google requested pages. You need to look into this problem in more detail and verify that your hosting is working properly.

'Not found' means that Google followed a link to your site, but the page it was looking for wasn't there. Under some circumstances this is inevitable, and if you have a very large and very busy site the numbers are less concerning. But ensure you check your site for broken links with a tool like Xenu, and also find out any other pages that Google is asking for, and why it couldn't find them. Under ideal conditions you should have no or very few not found errors.
