Strange Server Responses to Googlebot

In our Cpanel we are seeing the following:

This first one is from our latest vistors section:

/linkmachine/resources/pes5-keygen-password-play-online.html
Http Code: 200 Date: Feb 29 21:06:57 Http Version: HTTP/1.1 Size in Bytes: 8994
Referer: -
Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)

We do not have that page on our site...never have...

If I run the same page through a server header checker it comes back as 404, so where is the code 200 coming from...

This second line is from our error log:

Fri Feb 29 21:06:57 2008] [error] [client 66.249.73.82] File does not exist: /home/best/public_html/linkmachine/resources/pes5-keygen-password-play-online.html

As you can see it says file does not exist which is correct...

Can someone explain to me what is going on here....

Hi dmje,

The first lines you posted do not appear to be from raw logs, but have been modified prior to output. Can you check the line in the actual log file to see whether or not this is correct?
