We're looking to set up some sort of transaction tracking using Google Analytics. On the site we have:
1. Products that can be bought instantly online.
2. Products that can't be bought online - clients instead have to complete a form and we'll get back to them (this form stores product name and price). I'll call these 'product leads'.
3. Forms that allow people to tell us what they want (treated as a lead, doesn't state product or price).
If we go down the road of only recording actual online bookings, all the leads that we get won't be taken into account in the stat reports.
But if we record 'product leads' as real ecommerce sales then this presents a distorted figure in the stat reports as they'd be mixed in with all the (real) online bookings that we get.
Can anyone recommend the best way to set this up on Google Analytics?

Hope this helps.
Once you get E-commerce working, you'll forget about Goals. There is no comparison.
I’ve been trying to integrate GA E-commerce tracking with Paypal for a few weeks now. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of info out there on the subject.
After a few weeks and a few hundred dollars, I’ve come up with a script that fully integrates Paypal with GA E-commerce. I’ve wrote a free ebook that includes the script you’ll need at no cost.
There is nothing for sell here. I just wanted to see this info more widely available.
You can get the ebook from this link.
