hi friends,

i am getting fg-out-f136.google.com as the host referrer in my forum stats, if i trace the ip, it shows me New York city and the ISP is google.

if i get "fg-out-f136.google.com" in my forum whether the person is working in google visiting my site or google providing internet service to other public also like AOL?

please let me know! i am scared, whether someone misuse my site!

I wouldn't be scared, there are several ways I can see this happening.

It could easily be a Google employee - especially working in New York but not necessarily.

Google also has free wifi internet services in several parts of the world - for example the whole of San Jose - which means anyone looking at your site will be on a Google ISP I assume. Again, just because a person is using it in San Jose, there's no technical reason why your route trace could go back to a NY server.

Thirdly, it could easily be a non-human.... Google spidering your website.
