This forum has been a great help to me before with basic WebTrends questions.
I just added Google's AdSense ads to my site and am wondering if anyone know the general method to track this with WebTrends Enterprise 7.1?
I took a look at the ads section of it but I'm a bit lost.. :-)
Thank you!
Marvin
Thanks for the offer to help! Basically what I'm trying to do is monitor how many people click on the banner ads Google places on my site. WebTrends seems to have a provision for this in their product - I just don't have a clue as to what to do - but that's nothing new :-)
Basically Google gives me this code;
<center><script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = "pub-unique account identifier";
google_ad_width = 468;
google_ad_height = 60;
google_ad_format = "468x60_as";
google_ad_type = "text_image";
google_ad_channel ="";
google_color_border = ["336699","000000","B4D0DC","A8DDA0"];
google_color_bg = ["FFFFFF","F0F0F0","ECF8FF","EBFFED"];
google_color_link = ["0000FF","0000FF","0000CC","0000CC"];
google_color_url = "008000";
google_color_text = ["000000","000000","6F6F6F","6F6F6F"];
//--></script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>
</center></br>
to insert on my site. I then displays ads from Google and when someone clicks on one of them I get money. So what I'd like to do is use WebTrends to the fullest by tracking this ad campaign - if possible.
Any ideas on how that would work?
Best & Thanks;
Marvin
