sample.php?cat=50&subject=test
it aggregates hits for anything that comes after sample.php and just displays it as one whole number.
this doesn't help me at all since my site is all database driven.
anyone have suggestions or ways to fix this?
Maybe I am stupid, but after 5 years with sucessful tracking with other software I am kind of confused about this one.
Seems like - sorry, it does not work on your website!
For what it is worth:
I signed up for the 15 day trial.
Received an error message *something wrong*
One day later I received an email *problem solved*
Downloaded and installed software as advised
Unfortunately, NO counting of anything... Loggin into my account shows me 1 (one) vistor for the last three days.
I guess its not worth $199 USD per month! Off to unistall software and cancel account - what a waste. Just hope they dont sell my credit card details - to me the whole service looks like a phishing scam...Thanks Google!
The other is to find a vendor that supports url mapping in the analytics side. That is, a vendor that captures the entire url, but lets you deal with the url in a way that is optimal for you.
The best of them will let you group the url's with specific modifications to the parameters in the query, such as removing session id. Very handy if you are running, for example a forum which uses session ids.
