You need to understand that for the distinction between organic and paid activity there is no good way to know the difference. You have to do some preparation that allows analytics programs to know what the visit really is. This means getting a marker parameter into the landing page URL for your paid search ads. Some programs will do it for you but you have to turn on the marker parameters. If you turn it on in Google it will insert a parameter "gclid", among others. If you turn it on in Yahoo the parameter will be called "ovkey", among others.
