Is this what it looks like when someone is accessing our page though the google cache?

Why would someone want to do that? Must be a sign of SEO activity of some kind. I can't see why a regular searcher would wish to do that.

Yes that is someone looking at your cached page.
Could be a sign of SEO activity, but doesn't have to. I often look at cached pages because the search terms are highlighted. Saves a lot of time...
