Just wondering if there's a (PHP) (freeware) hit counter that could be customised to/will display my site's most popular pages _to my visitors_?

i.e. I would call the script as an include file in the front page of my site, so visitors could browse the most popular pages easily.

There are a thousand hit counter softwares out there, and finding something close to what I want is proving a trial.

I could hack an ordinary counter, but I begrudge the time.

I too am after something like this, but I would specifically like it to be integrated with our Stats package and get the most popular pages data from there, rather than a stand alone hit counter.

We use Google Analytics - anyone know if it can be done using this?

I ended up modifying the AXS Perl script [xav.com...]

As for Google Analytics, I think Google knows too much about my business already.
