is there a way I can tell WT to give me only a certain number of rows from a report and not the whole list?

I would like for example a report with the top 5 URLs visited, not the whole list of URLs

Thanks for the help

It won't go down to 5, just 10, 20, 50, or 100.

You can set it globally in Preferences (top right of report screen) or for an individual report you can set the view to 10 and then create a Bookmark, which will preserve the 10 setting.

Thank you for replying.

Im running email reports generated by webtrends. So I need to tell it to give me only a certain number of rows for a certain report (example: Pages) and a different number of rows for another report (example: referring sites). I know you can set it up for all of them, but I wanna know if there is a way you can do it for each individual report.

thanks!

The only way I know would be bookmarks. Then, you could create a template that consists only of the reports you want to send --- i.e. the bookmarked ones and any others you wish. You could omit from the template the "originals" of the reports that you bookmarked.

The other possibility would be using DataLinks or the ODBC driver to pull the data into Excel where you'd truncate and manipulate with pivot tables and macros, then save the presentation layer as csv and use a scheduled task to mail it.

I can't think of anything other than these two.

The people on the WebTrends User Forum might have additional ideas. You can get to the forum on the WT site.
