Hi

I have google analystic, i want to see the errors when my site is down, like log files, it is possible?

Because i dont have any support for my host company, they only say to upgrade for a virtual dedicated server, for a better performance.

Im using a shared account, ssl, seo, mysql data bases, a few scripts and a few htacess rules.

I have 300 visits a day, some times when i have only 10 persons, (night) the site crash, no one cant access.

During the day, i have 40 visits at same time, whith out a problem, so i assume, it is 2 things, my host servers get very busy at night, and my site crash, or may be i have some problem with some code at my site, and when a visit is using, make my site crash.

So how i can track the errors that is causing my site crash? To find what is causing this?

Thanks for the help

You need log based tracking for tracking errors. One of the better reasons for analysing log files.

I am getting (rightly) barraged with complaints that it is out of date, but the best I can offer is anything saying "log based" in [webmasterworld.com...]

For just 300 visits a day, I would skip over an analysis package and go straight to the data. Get your logs. Open them in a text editor or even Excel. Find the problem events and look at the visits surrounding them, hit by hit. You'll be able to tell more from this than from any statistical analysis.

If you don't know what the fields are, just google the topic.
