Path Analysis software

Need recommendations

I have a website and I need to track the path visitors take. I need your recommendations on which is software is substantial for my purposes. Don't want to spend too much on the software. So, I guess an Omniture and Webtrends is out of question.

It would help if you would define path and path analysis. There's really simple path analysis which just involves the next step off a page, and there are about 5 layers of complexity beyond that. And spending too much would be ... $35 per month? $100 per month?

At least a 3-5 level complexity and a spend of say 8-15 dollars per month, is what I am looking for. And what would it cost for more than a 5 level complexity. Would that come in the budget of $8-15?
