Hello,

There are just a couple of things I don't think I am understanding in the "tracking" lingo.

First of all, what is the definition of a "visit"?

AND, what is the definition of a "site"? On my tracking page is shows amount of sites, which is always higher than everything else. Including my visits, hits, etc...

Cheerful Trails,

Christian

Whatever analytics program you are using should have a help function that will show how it defines those things. What statistics program are you using?

But I can't think of any definition that will explain how sites can be greater than hits.

I just use a free counter called Webalizer. I found what you were talking about though, regarding to their FAQ page.

THANKS!
