Pixel Tracking For Banner Campaigns?

Hi guys

Just a quick one - I work for a banner network and we have just picked up a campaign who has asked for pixel tracking which we havent done before. They want us to send them the pixel so they can implement it their end before the campaign begins.

Can anyone help with this as we don’t know how do set this up.

In my experience of working with banner networks, it's usually them who ask the advertiser to implement the pixel so that they can track registrations directly and either do automatic optimisation or charge the advertiser on a CPA basis. Is this an advertiser asking you to send them a pixel so that you can track registrations in this way?

Unless they are buying from you on a CPA basis or have no tracking on their end whatsoever and need you to report conversions as well, then surely you don't need pixel tracking?
