The site was launched June 1st, 2007 and results are all organic.

AWSTATS shows over 10,000 page views, while Google's Analytics shows 700 page views. Since there is such a huge difference which one has a higher trust factor?

Like page views there is also a big difference with unique visitors. Google's analytics shows approx. 250, while AWSTATS list approx. 550. Again, which one has the better trust factor?

I would say Analytics is the most accurate stats app in my experiences.

AWStats which is based on log files will include bots and spiders that a Google's tag methodology will mostly miss. And for all I know, when you say "page views" you could be referring to "hits" which includes every image, every js file, many other types of files that GA ignores.

There are many other reasons for differences in both directions. Lots of postings in them forum in the past on it.

If you want to know about stats that have to do with the load on your server, then AWStats is a lot more accurate than GA.
