Clicktracks Pro Hosted Vs. Indextools Enterprise

We've been doing a lot of research into various web analytics tools that can help our online user optimization and conversion improvement efforts. I seem to keep coming back to ClickTracks Pro Hosted [clicktracks.com] and Indextools Enterprise [indextools.com] as the two options available in my budget (HBX [websidestory.com] is just too pricey @ ~$800/mo). The site in question gets around 50,000 page views a month and we're looking to understand our visitor behavior and improve navigation, content and usability for visitors. Does anyone have experience with both tools? Opinion as to which is a better/more rounded package? Is one or the other lacking key features or reports?

Hope this sparks a good discussion - We're evaluating both systems as I type this, but I'd love to hear what you think.

Thanks!

Since Google Analytics seems to be getting all the press in this forum recently, I think some discussion on the enterprise level alternatives is more than overdue.

I haven't used Clicktracks for a few years now, so I am sure it has moved forward since then, but I do use IndexTools. Alot. I find it well rounded and I understand its vaguaries. I also like the reporting which can be emailed to people who haven't got the time or inclination to log in and those reports can be as techie or as un-techie as you like. The dashnoards also rock.

I think the Indextools Path Explorer is a bit weaker than Clicktracks' - but the sales funnel and scenario analysis tools work well.

Hi Covareo

First the disclaimer, I work at IndexTools, but I am not affiliated with StoneTemple! :-)

However; you just missed, by a few hours, an article over at Eric Enge’s StoneTemple site that might have your interest:
“10 Cool Things you can do with IndexTools” - and you will find a similar article for Google Analytics.

Links:

Eric is also doing a shoot-out between 5 vendors where both ClickTracks, HBX and IndexTools are included – which could help you as well.

Cheers
