Is there a way to block your own IP from web stats? When we test our sites, it can really throw off the stats. This is especially true on a new web site.

It will depend on the tracking system you use. In the system we use, there is an option to ignore specific IP numbers. We can also block the computer we are using, by the stats recognizing a cookie.
