Can anyone tell me where I can get information on other companies and how their online sales compare to their overall sales. Our e-commerce site accounts for about 26% of our overall sales, and I am being told on a daily basis that this is low. Can anyone tell me where I can get this info?

Thanks...

I don't know who tells you this is low, but tell Walmart that they should be getting 26% of their business from the web? It really depends on your business model.

What I CAN tell you is that in Europe, the data I have suggests that just under 10% of all retail sales will be done online by 2007. Presumably that will happen a little sooner in the US since they are about 6 months ahead.

10% by 2007. not 26% or more right now.

So - My data came from Overture. Where is the 26% is low data come from?

On the other hand 100% of Amazon's business is online - you you've gotta say it depends on your business model more than your competition.
