I have limited experience with web analytics so please be gentle. We would like to view the paths for visitors, both in terms of post popular paths (clickstreams) and the paths taken by visitors from a campaign. Each campaign has its own landing page & referrer tag, please could someone advise me how to set it up?
Also when I have looked at paths they display our style sheets as part of the path, does anyone know how to stop this?
Any assistance you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
I have set up the new campaigns, I have used referrer tags. Although some of the campaigns were set up by my predecessor.
Unfortunately nobody has any experience with NetTracker apart from setting campaigns to record click throughs and duration of visit after the click through. I have checked and we do not have support, its a shame because we are also looking at upgrading to the latest version and it would make life a lot similar. Although I have just had the go ahead to go on a training course if we upgrade.
Could you tell me how to run a report showing the path(s) a visitor(s) has taken once they have clicked though. Also NetTracker always picks up on our style sheets, any idea how to program it not to?

You will need to add the .css extension to the filter list in the options tab of your profile. This will filter out all style sheets from your data for newly imported data. To filter out for all data then you will need to clear the profile and reimport. If you don't fancy that then just add over a simple page filter for the specific report you're looking at.
To get the most popular paths for a campaign you will (in NT 7.5) need to create a custom report, create a cross-tab report where the first dimension is campaign and the second is path.
The most popular paths are shown in the basic path report, but to get the best use of the path facility you probably want to create a custom report, define a basic report and have the dimension as either a path from a page, a path to a page or a path between 2 specific pages. This way you get a clear picture of where people are going around specific points on your site.
But you should really get on support, especially as version 7.1 is out, its a lot better than 7.5. Yeah I know the version numbering goes backwards, its to do with Unica buying Sane Solutions etc....
