WebSideStory, Inc. and Visual Sciences LLC have unified under a single brand. [visualsciences.com]

I would have thought Webside story was the stronger brand of the two, but hey - what do I know? Presumably the phrase "Hitbox" will soon be consigned to the WPB file.

We use Visual Sciences here at my company, and if you have seen this product, then you will understand why they changed their name. VS is simply amazing. As a web analyst, my only worry now is that it makes my job too easy and will make me obsolete.

I thought something was strange. I got in and solved a problem for someone I did a small site for a few years ago who's been using Hitbox. When I clicked on the graphic for the counter, instead of going to a subdomain of the site of the "new" company, it redirected to a casino site.

Don't know if that's a bug or a feature, but needless to say it came off.
