Hi, I have recently been getting alot of traffic to my site, my stats went up by thousands. I noticed alot of things in my access log referenced to FunWebProducts. Anyone have any idea on how to fix this or what this exactly is? Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks, Michelle

FunWebProducts applications come with the MY WEB SEARCH browser plugin - a customizable browser toolbar which provides users with access to search results from the best search engines on the internet.

Why would you want to? "them" is just someone using that toolbar in their browser - not big brother or anything hostile.

We get them all of the time... certainly nothing to be concerned about ( as a whole any way ).

Good on the stats. Looks like you are doing something right. FWP is just a BHO (how much "helper" there is in it depends on what you want it for)...you will see the same if you have Alexa or even the .NET CLR loaded on a machine accessing your site. Take care.

Some people have labbed FunWebProducts from IWon as either SpyWare or Adware however (Google FunWebProducts), so I personally wouldn't install any of their products. I see quite a few others have however by the number of user agent strings containg FunWebProducts. I don't think they are actually generating any traffic to your site, they are just a browser help object and have added themselves into the User Agent.
