This pertains to Gooogle Analytics. If my Website URL is www.example.com and I add the tracking code to a.example.com, will that count for the stats? Thank you.

I am facing a similar problem. I added a tracking code for a site sub domain (wanted to track its data separately). Now the problem is, the original analytics accounts shows all data. but this new account shows stats that are even less than the adwords clicks!
Can anyone help? the analytics help section is not useful at all.
