We have been working at better understanding what users are click on when they read an article or enter our site. Trying to find out how different formats and so on improve or decrease the amount of page views we get per user.

I am looking for software that will help with this. I don't really want log analyzers and so on.. I am taking about tracking every "link" on a page and seeing what links get more clicks. I really don't want to generate code for each link.

Tracking software that follows visitor footsteps through a site is the only way I know to do it. If you start tricking out your links, you skew the data due to the increased load time.
