I don't know if you guys caught this, but Google dropped the price on Urchin from $500/month to $199 with 100,000 page views. Extra page views are $99/million.

Also interesting in their announcements today is another sign of change from the Google aquisition, the rebranding of the product to "Urchin from Google", interesting strategy.

Recieved this today as part of our authorized reseller update from Urchin...

"First, both our software and On Demand products will be rebranded "Urchin from Google". We expect this to add significant value to both offerings. Secondly, as of today we are offering Urchin On Demand at a reduced price of $199 per month. The service now includes 50 website report profiles per account. As before, an Urchin On Demand account comes with 100,000 pageviews per month, but now an additional 1 million pageviews are available for $99 more per month. In addition, Urchin On Demand has also been integrated with Google AdWords, simplifying the importation of Cost Per Click data into Urchin for customers."

As a resller, have you heard anything about when Urchin 6 software will be available? Is that still going to happen? I'm not very comfortable with Google having that much data about our statistics, but the software program would be perfect. Especially at a reduced price!

I agree, the software would be much better than the On Demand in order to prevent paying recurring fees.

I am looking between Urchin and Sane, but the campaign tracking module for Urchin seems ridiculously priced. Any one think they will drop the price on that?
