Wanadoo Search

Hi i just noticed this in my log, it was the referer link to one of my website hits but its a bit wierd.

NO KEYWORDS to strip out for a start

[search.wanadoo.co.uk...]

secondly i decided to investigate further and types a set of keywords that brough up my site in the results
and i got exaclty the same string.

ANybody know why? thanks

&q=dulwich/picture/gallery

&q= means the query is ...

I take it somebody was searching for the 'dulwich picture gallery'.
I don't know about the slashes however.
Those might have been typed in by the person browsing. -Larry

sorry mate you dont understand

did a search with totally different keywords adn got exaclty the same string as the one posted above, no mention of gallery, dulwich etc... the same string appears for any variety of search keywords

I do get some really weird referers in my stats from Wandadoo - things like 'ebay' which are nothing to do with my site.

im wondering if it is some kind or multimedia robot which appears in the REFERER not the useragent,

thing is the reference came from MSIE 6 and mine and the other logged visitor using wanadoo search have differnt IP's but the same referer even though the keyword were different :)

SO i guess its not a robot :)

Wierd, if anybody knows what wanadoo is dooooing
