IE7 default block javascript. How reliable is GA stats?

IE 7 default settings blocks scripts and active x. Google Analytics requires the load of javascript. Is GA stats reliable anymore for tracking visitor stats?

IE7 doesn't block GA by default afaik. GA doesn't use activeX. Anyone else care to confirm that IE7 is picking up javascript by default? I don't know about GA, but I am using a different js based system and it seems to be tracking me on IE7.
