Recomendation for Log based analyzing tool?

Hi

I am looking around for a realiable log-based analyzing tool, anyone who can recomend one that generates stats that you can really trust?

Webtrends looks like ,but that's way to expensive (Got a large site).

123LogAnalyzer looks simple and nice, but is it good?

They all contain statistics that you can trust to be what they are. You will have to take the time to understand what they are. They are all "good" and trustworthy in that they will perform consistent analyses according to their own internal definitions. You'll have to decide what you want. The first item of this forum leads to a pretty good set of descriptions of many of them. If you start with a simple, free one you can later make more educated decisions about upgrading to something else.
