Google.com as referral vs IP based ones

is it one...or do I add them up?

Looking in my logs, I noticed that I have say 200 visits from google.com, 100 from 209.85.165.104 and 100 from another google IP. Did I get 400 Google referrals or 200?

The ones from google.com are direct search results traffic, while the IP address referrers are views of the Google-cached pages, WAP proxy, or translated pageviews.

So the answer depends on how finely you want to categorize referrals...

thanks JD. I am surprised that the IPs, all added, account for over 50%. Is this odd or ...?>
