Referring Source is my site?

Looking through Google analytics and looking at the referring source report, my domain is showing up as a referral source to itself. How is this possible? any idea what is going on here? could this be some sort of server configuration issue? duplicate content? i just don't get it.

Very common. Search for "self-referred visits" for a long explanation. The short one is that somebody left one of your pages open on their desk top for a long time and then clicked on it. Since they'd been quiet for so long, GA assumed it was an entirely new visit.
