I generate monthly website stats from an IIS logfile using WebLog Expert. We recently created a new URL which points to a subfolder on our website, but when I run reports for that site/folder, the reports say that there is no traffic - no hits, no page views, nothing. I run reports for other parts of our website and the stats look reasonable. I asked our ISP run a report for the site using WebTrends and they get the same result (no hits) which tells me that it isn't a problem with the reporting software. I also know that the site *is* being used (at least by other staff members). I don't know where to start looking for the cause of this problem. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Kathy

[edit reason] no urls thanks [/edit]
My ISP just informed me of what the problem was. When they set up the new site, they had it create it's own log file instead of saving the log file entries into the main website log file. So when they gave me the main website log file there were no entries for the new site - hence the report said there were no hits. Now that I have the appropriate log file, my report is fine and all is well.
Thanks again,
Kathy
