Hi folks

Hopefully someone could give me a little bit of advice.

I run a small finance site in the uk. We take applications online. traffic is powered via various cpc and cpm ads.

Since Jan we have strated to receive a large amount of traffic from an Indian ip address which seems quite strange as we only advertise in the uk.

The traffic thats coming from the indian IP is converting to what seems like valid finance applications - we've spoken to the customers and confirmed details etc but non can remember where they applied.

Could anyone give me any suggestions as why we are getting valid uk finance applications from a Indian IP address?

Many thanks in advance

You have to back track that and figure out where that traffic is coming from.

What are the referral strings for the initail clicks?

That depends entirely on the log file application you are using. If you don't have one, then you need to figure out how to get one. Something that tracks log files. Webtrends, sawmil...etc.

try this thread for apps
[webmasterworld.com...]

for reference the php thread is here
[webmasterworld.com...]

you can also just check your logs

if you have a *nix server you can use grep from the command line to get every line where that ip occurs
