Doing a bit of reading on stats and stuff and came across this post [webmasterworld.com ] This is exactly the question I wanted to ask but then I noticed that this post is 5 years old!
Is it still the case that only about 1% of users do not accept cookies or has this changed?

If we are talking about first party cookies then this figure might have gone up to 2%. I am not sure about third party cookies.

Most people still accept cookies. Most people also do not clear their cache or cookies on a daily basis.
