Google Analytics account says someone came to my site from Google Search. Query was:

site:mysitehere.com forum

This user visited my site almost every day for few weeks, sometimes generating dozens of impressions. The problem is i cannot find any entry in my server log to verify what one was doing on the site.

I looked through all the "site" entries in my logs. Nothing similar to that search term. I know spaces are converted to "+", and ":" can be converted to some hexadecimal number, so I checked those also. No luck.

I do not think Google Analytics could insert some phantom entries.

Could you suggest what I should be looking for?

It is possible that who- or whatever was doing this generated clicks at Google, but never actually visited your site.

Thanks for help gregbo. Do you mean somebody could just view cached by Google pages?

I was thinking they could have reached some kinds of cached pages.
