There are two parts to it one being the monitoring side of things two being the live help for your customers… obviously there is more to the software than this however these are the two main points I would like to enquire about.
The problem is my work colleague has said he read somewhere that the information that the monitoring system collects can be viewed as bad via search engines, has anyone here had any experience with this?
We have over 500 websites not to mention how many clients all using this software to monitor there sites along with some using the live help, the live help isn’t actually a worry as it loads quick enough and is for the customers not search engines, however it’s the amount of information the program collects that’s the issue.
I can’t understand why this kind of system can be classed as bad I simply don’t get it, so if anyone does I would be grateful for an explanation.

Did you ask him exactly what is considered "bad" about this? I don't see any SEO issues, unless there is some redirection going on and not being done correctly.
Personally, I find these type of services a bit creepy, and avoid sites that use it agressively. I don't want somebody reading over my shoulder and popping up a window with "helpful suggestions". Further, the operators typically don't really know the subject matter and aren't able to answer real questions, so I would never click on one of those "help me" links, either.
