I just received about 40 leads from a old page on my site in the last 6 hours, which is HUGE for us. I would really like to know what search engine, keyword string they are using to come there. I have looked at the log files that my hosting company provides, but this does not show it.

What would be the easiest way to figure out where this traffic is coming from? I have an adwords account. Would g analytics be able to figure this out exactly?

what you are looking for is the "referer".

it "should" be in your logs.

as for a web analytics service, it can do it, and do it well, but only if it is in place at the time it happens. it cannot reach into data that it has never had a chance to store.

If it's not a search engine but instead some kind of hard coded link, you can narrow it down by using a link: search in any of the search engines, like this: link:www.yoursite.com/extinctpage.asp.
