This has been a problem for a while, I just didn't get around to posting so maybe it's been posted before. Anyway, Google Analytics is broken on my Mac whether I'm using Firefox or Safari. The initial screen when viewing stats for a site shows the geomap and the referer pie chart but the visitors/page views graph isn't showing, and that's the one I really wanna glance at.

Do you have the latest version of the Flash player installed? Both FF and Safari show all the graphs fine for me, but I think I recall having trouble with some of the graphs until I updated Flash.

Thanks for the suggestion sonjay. I just upgraded to the latest version (9.something) but am still having the issue on Firefox. Safari seems to work OK. At least I don't have to trod over to my Windows box now.

I hear you on that! I hate having to turn to my Windows box for anything, if I can avoid it.

I wonder why it still doesn't work on FF, though. Are you running FF2 or 1.5? Do you have any extensions or plugins installed that could be affecting it? Have you cleared the cache in FF?

I'm running FF 2 and do have a lot of extensions, so maybe that's it. I'll try clearing the cache...

I'm also running FF2, and have a bunch of extensions installed, but I'm sure they're a different bunch of extensions than you have. It could be one of your add-ons, or, with any luck, merely a caching issue. Or you could be stuck using Safari for Analytics, if you just can't get it working in FF.

There is a known bug for Flash with Firefox 2. The workaround is in the release notes. This solution worked for me.

"Some users have reported problems viewing Macromedia Flash content on Intel Mac computers. To work around this problem, users can remove or move the PowerPC version of "Flash Player Enabler.plugin from /Library/Internet Plug-Ins."
