What is the best Log Analysing Software?

I am currently looking into what would be the most appropriate software for log analysing. The software would be used to create traffic reports (some with a seo slant) for a list of clients. My research keeps bringing me back to WebTrends. Before a huge investment is made I want to be sure this is deemed the industry best for quick and easy yet detailed reports.

As you can see I'm new so please be gentle.

Your comments would be appreciated.

well, i have been looking at nettracker recently, and it simply seems to be a glorified version of AWstats - excepts it costs about £6k for what we want it for. I need to see navigational analysis on each page of the website and where people click, and how many - of which i don't think Nettracker is possible to do.

Another thing that bugs me is that of all of the log programs i have tried, they all show massivly different results! one shows averge time on 5mins, another 2 mins, another 3 mins. It's really bugging me, how the heck do i know which one is right?
